Critical Upgrades & Bypass of Existing Facilities

August 9, 2023 This project involves demolition and modifications to existing components in a chlorine contact tank. It includes construction of a new pile-supported flow split structure onto the existing tank, as well as a new pile-supported chlorine contact tank and pump station. Electrical modifications will be made to the associated control building.  Additional scope includes replacement of trickling filter media in one bio tower, replacement of two distributor arms and the drive mechanism, and installation of retractable stairs. The project also includes construction of a new valve vault on the outfall pipe and installation of a bypass pipe for the outfall system.
