We are currently looking for a construction professional who can manage projects out of our Brighton, CO office. We are looking for a person that is capable of thinking outside the box, understands multi staged construction projects, is detailed oriented with experience heavy civil construction.
Responsibilities

* Provide full estimating services on large, complex heavy civil construction projects.
* Site visits and investigations.
* Conducting constructability studies.
* Coordinate and Manage Subcontractors.
* Manage Owner relationships

* Update and Track Project Schedules
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* 7 plus years construction experience

* Ability to communicate effective
* Candidates must possess a strong work ethic.
* Work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong organizational, interpersonal skills.
* Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.

Preferred Qualification

* Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

* Experience with HCSS/Heavy Bid

* Experience with Suretrack/Primavera

* Experience with Alternative Delivery Project such as Design-Build, CMGC, CMAR

Myers & Sons Construction, is a Project Structures Engineer to lead our efforts on the Bridge construction on three projects in the Bay Area. One project is an alternative delivery project and we are in the preconstruction phase helping Caltrans develop plans to retrofit an existing 100 year old stone arch bridge in Saratoga. The next project is a Caltrans project in Santa Clara County and consists of retrofitted five bridges along RT 101 and the third project consists of replacing the Route 80/29 SEP Bridge in Vallejo in three stages. The bridge is a three span, voided slab bridge. All three projects are early in the project lifecycle and a great opportunity to get involved early and have an impact on the project.

This person will work closely with project manager, company executives, project owner, as well as Myers and Sons’ internal staff to complete projects in a timely and effective manner. This person must be self-motivated and good with communication.

Required Experience: Must have experience working on a Heavy Civil Project as Field Engineer, or Project Engineer.

Myers and Sons Construction is currently seeking a Project Manager to work on two Treatment Plant projects in the Bay Area. This person will work closely with the project owner, as well as Myers and Sons’ internal staff to complete projects in a timely and effective manner.

The first project is in San Rafael and the work includes modification of existing headworks, construction of new electrical building, construction of new pump station, anoxic basin and aeration basins and installation of all associated equipment. The work also includes construction of new secondary clarifiers, modification of existing chlorine contact chambers, construction of a new dechlorination chemical storage and dosing facility, construction of new mechanical and thickeners. Additional work includes installation of new pond return pumps and recycled water plant (RWTF) feed pumps and installation of RWTF membrane skids and RWTF distribution pumps. Additional tasks include complete site grading, yard piping, vaults (and flow meters), electrical, valving and gates (with actuators), paving, retaining walls, concrete walkways, and other appurtenances. The second project is a Progressive Design Build project in Windsor where we will be building water and wastewater treatment facilities, this project is currently in the preconstruction phase and will be moving to construction this summer.

Required Experience: Must have experience working on a Heavy Civil / Treatment Plant Project as a Project Manager or Project Engineer.

Preferred Background: A Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or Construction Management degree.
