Pelican Lift Station

Myers and Sons Construction won this contract through the Town of Windsor in Colorado. Work included the demolition of the Pelican Lakes Lift Station drywell including replacement with a new lift station, dry well outfitted with pump equipment, controls, and new existing HVAC mechanical equipment that was removed from the Interim Lift Station that is stored at the Windsor WWTP. The Pelican Lakes Lift Station had to remain in service or bypass pumping had to be provided. The Lift Station replacement includes relocation of the emergency generator, a new lift station suction and discharge piping and new magnetic flow meter. Site groundwater had to also be assessed and repaired. An existing manhole located at a different site than the lift station was to be removed and replaced with a new 8 foot diameter manhole that connects three existing sewers; (2) 36-inch sewers and (1) 24-inch sewer.
