Treatment PlantsMyers and Sons Construction won this contract through the Inland Empire Utilities Agency as the prime contractor at $5.69 million. The work for the RP-1 Headworks, Primary and Secondary Upgrades project consists of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, transportation and incidentals necessary to furnish, deliver and install new mechanical equipment; piping, valves and fittings; electrical and control system equipment; and instrumentation as shown on the drawings and specifications. Treatment facilities must be maintained in service during all said improvements, the plant is expected to handle 14 million gallons per day (2,200 m3/h).
