Chico Poly

Subcontracted by Viking Construction, Myers and Sons was tasked with placing polyester overlay on two structures as well as replacing unsound concrete and concrete panels along the freeway.  This project took place along Highway 99 in Chico, CA and included an additional structure to be overlaid with polyester, which was added by Caltrans prior to the start of work. The project was also located next to a urban area in which many houses and businesses were located within 100 feet of the work area. Therefore, Myers and Sons communicated with the neighboring citizens to provide them additional information about the construction activities taking place and the polyester product being used.
