  • Superintendent (Treatment Plants-Nor Cal)

      Job Summary
      We are currently looking for a Superintendent with 10 years plus experience in Treatment Plant construction in California. This person would work on Plant projects in Vallejo/Richmond area and would be responsible for building projects in that area. Myers has a robust treatment plant business across Northern California that provides steady work and growth opportunities.

      We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to build teams and projects up to and over $50 million. The current project would be finishing up a chlorine contact basin, mechanical piping, site work, grading and paving, and punch list. This project will wrap up at the end of 2025. This person should be capable of leading a project team on a complex detailed oriented project and be knowledgeable in the self-performance of excavation, concrete, underground and mechanical.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Work On Site to help solve problems that occur during construction
      • Maintain thorough understanding of the contract with the Owner
      • Build works plans with assistance from project engineers and project manager
      • Responsible for project safety
      • Review and approve timecards in HeavyJob
      • Subcontractor management and scheduling

      Qualifications:

  • Senior Project Manager (Highways- Denver)

      Job Summary

      We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager with 10 years plus experience in the heavy highway construction industry in Colorado. This person would work out of our office in Brighton as well as on project sites and would be responsible for managing projects across the Colorado market. As a senior member of our management team in Colorado you will be asked to mentor younger Project Managers and Engineers to help us grow our presence in the Colorado market.

      We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead and oversee complex hard bid and alternative delivery projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies and tools, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and a commitment to fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams. In addition to day to day Project Management activities this candidate, will be asked to participate in the development of content for alternative delivery projects and be part of the pursuit team.

      This person should be capable of leading a project team on a fast paced project and be knowledgeable in self-performed street, highway and bridge work as well as CDOT standard plans and specifications. This person should also should feel comfortable navigating and working within accounting and project documentation software such as Vista (Viewpoint) and HCSS (HeavyJob) and be detailed oriented.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Work On Site to help solve problems that occur during construction
      Work within Vista to manage costs reports
      Maintain thorough understanding of the contract with the Owner
      Monitor and report project schedule and cost progress
      Field work: Assist engineers and superintendents with work plans

      Job Summary

      We are currently looking for a Project Manager with 7 years plus experience in Treatment Plant construction in Colorado. This person would work out of our office in Brighton as well as on project sites and would be responsible for managing projects across the Colorado market. This position will lead the management of all treatment plant work in our Colorado marketplace and will build a team to work with them as we grow.

  • Senior Project Manager (Structures- Nor Cal)

      We are currently looking for a Structures Project Manager with 10 – 15 years or more experience in the heavy civil construction industry to join our team on our North County Corridor Project for Stanislaus County, located South of the Town of Riverbank. This is a 144 million dollar joint venture project with Bay Cities Grading and Paving.

      Myers and Sons has been contracted for the construction of multiple structures (7 bridges and one 4 cell box culvert) as part of the North County Corridor Project – Phase 1. The work includes the realignment & extension of Claribel Rd and construction of the new North Corridor Expressway. The structures will span over the existing Roselle Road, Modesto Irrigation District Canal and the BNSF Railway. Structures are a combination of parabolic box girder and precast girder bridges.

      We are looking for a person that is capable of developing a deep understanding of the project documents, including; the contract with the owner, subcontracts, cost reports, CPM schedules, specifications, project deliverable documents, correspondence, billings, and related project controls items. This person should be capable of leading a project team on a fast paced project and be knowledge in self-performed CIP concrete bridge work. Knowledge of Caltrans Standard plans and specifications is preferred. This person should also should feel comfortable navigating and working within accounting and project documentation software such as Vista and be detailed oriented. In addition to office task, this person will work closely with the project superintendent(s) and project engineer(s) to develop and execute work plans as well as track costs.

      Key Responsibilities:
